It's unfortunate that no good deed goes unpunished.
I have to admit that I've been asounded by the hate for Elon's amazing efforts in what he and his team uncovered so far, which only goes to show that there are so many grifters out there. Who doesn't want to cut out waste and fraud? Grifters - be it on the individual, government or corporate level - and it will be the ruin of this great country unless we can change this channel, bigly.
I really appreciate your clarity and perspective on events like Musk in DC. It is a machine designed to pulverize the optimistic. Yet, I'm going back to keep working for change with my fellow optimists.
Thank you for this article — Mr. Musk did go to Washington with high ideals and sadly wasn’t embraced even by those who claim to like what he was doing. Governor DeSantis is right. Congress needs term limits.
For conservatives like me, elected officials boasting an “R” by their name are not viewed with automatic respect any longer. They may assume victory, but aren’t guaranteed elective office just by slapping the name “Trump” on every bill. Up and down the ticket, I will be weighing each vote very carefully. So much arrogance, so little courage.
God Bless Elon Musk and his entire team.
