On March 7, 2021 — after six weeks in office — President Biden issued an executive order. This one wasn’t about killing Keystone Pipeline, or ending border security or enabling biological males to compete against female athletes.
No, this one was a direct assault on the US Constitution. In it, Biden ordered all 600 federal agencies to “expand citizens’ opportunities to register to vote and participate in the electoral process.” The Constitution assigns the power to conduct elections expressly to the states, but, citing discrimination against minority voters, Biden ordered federal agencies to distribute voter registration and vote-by-mail ballot application forms, help applicants fill them out, and allow third-party groups, like Zuckerberg’s Center for Tech and Civic Life, to operate registration booths in government offices.
In truth, the collaboration between Big Tech, Big Government and Big Media to sell us a lie has been going on a long time. Biden’s executive order just formalized it. They used it to force our compliance with COVID vaccines that proved neither safe nor effective. They used it to bury news of Hunter Biden’s laptop before the 2020 election, with all its damning evidence of Biden family corruption. Now, Big Tech is putting its thumb on the scale again, hiding news unfriendly to the Dem cause, sensationalizing stories that help. This is the closing message of a Dem campaign defending inflation, crime and Woke. It the only weapon they have left to wrest victory from what looks like a Red Wave victory for Republicans. And they are using it with verocity.
This time, we have the receipts.
Recently, Missouri and Louisiana filed a lawsuit (Missouri v. Biden) alleging that government officials or agencies — including the FBI — regularly collude with Facebook, Twitter and Google to violate the First Amendment by suppressing views they labeled as “disinformation.” Stories the social media giants objected to disappeared from Google searches. Vamoose. Like during the Stalin era when a banished official was airbrushed from Kremlin photos.
During the case, emails have surfaced that hint at the enormity of the federal scheme to violate the First Amendment by silencing critics. No doubt there will be more disclosures to come, but it is worth contemplating how this open collusion between government and Big Tech’s oligarchs will impact our elections, our very democracy.
This week came more court documents demonstrating that the Department of Homeland Security is “directly engaging with social media companies to flag MDM (mis-, dis- or mal-information) … “ahead of the midterms elections,” with an eye toward expanding the operation for the 2024 president election. Translation: MDM stands for any information representing views contrary to those of the ruling elite.
Journalist Glenn Greenwald, who was himself canceled for exposing details of Hunter Biden’s corruption, calls this unholy and authoritarian alliance the disinformation industry. “This newly minted, self-proclaimed expertise, grounded in little more than crude political ideology, claims the right to officially decree what is true and false for purposes of, among other things, justifying state and corporate censorship.” Funded by neoliberals George Soros and Pierre Omidyar, joined by US, British and EU intel agencies, operating under benign sounding groups like “The Institute of Strategic Dialogue,” they use an image of white-coat scientists to stigmatize, repress and censor any thoughts, views and ideas that dissent from the Woke establishment orthodoxy.
When computer intel consultant Edward Snowden leaked National Security Agency documents in 2013, one of the most consequential was one disclosing that Big Tech companies — Google, Apple and Facebook — were turning over massive amounts of data about their users to the NSA. No warrant, no court findings, just spying.
Now the data pile is enormous, and the consequences go beyond elections, aiming directly at fee speech. PayPal’s move to fine any user $2,500 for expressing what it deems misinformation is an opening salvo in a movement to not only disenfranchise those of conservative views but rob them of financial oxygen. Just ask Canada’s Justin Trudeau, who froze the bank accounts of truckers who launched a convoy protest against COVID lockdowns and mandates. Lesbian activist Jaimee Mitchell started a group called Gays Against Groomers, to fight against efforts to sexualize young children. Last month by PayPal and subsidiary Venmo canceled the group’s account.
Maybe the increasing trove of documents will awaken the public, Americans of every political stripe, to this massive invasion into our personal, financial and electoral privacy. Or maybe the Far Left, rationalizing their authoritarianism by brandishing conservatives as fascists, has embraced censorship as its vindictive club of choice.
Recently, the Stanford Graduate School of Business organized a two-day Academic Freedom Conference to scholars of many affiliations to discuss — in an invitation-only setting — how to restore academic freedom at universities. Some 30 Stanford profs urged the university to distance itself, saying such a conference would encourage racist thought. “A large number of progressives were invited, and they all declined,” said California Association of Scholars Chair John Ellis. Asked why, Richard Lowery, a finance professor at UT Austin, said, “The philosophy of the campus left is that dissenting ideas should not be allowed to be expressed.”
And there it is — the Woke politicians and Big Tech tyrants want censorship, not freedom. They demonize Republicans as fascists because then they can position themselves as saviors, protecting society from racism, transphobism and uncritical history. Somehow, even if John Fetterman is cognitively challenged, he’s a D, and Dems protect one another. Even if there’s evidence of corruption on Hunter Biden’s laptop, it has to be suppressed, to protect the Dem establishment. Even if he’s guilty of nothing more than ambition, Donald Trump has to be subjected to prosecution and persecution for crimes he did not commit, to protect the Dem establishment.
Elon Musk, the self-described Chief Twit, has just purchased Twitter, vowing to restore it as a vibrant space for expression. “It is important to the future of civilization to have a common digital town square, where a wide range of beliefs can be debated in a healthy manner, without resorting to violence,” he reassured advertisers.
But the reaction to Musk’s purchase of Twitter from liberal elites suggests what an uphill struggle it will take to restore free speech, and by extension, free elections. On hearing of Musk’s acquisition, one hysteric proclaimed, “This will ruin America. The fascists will take over.” Musk’s annoucement that “The bird is freed,” was met by fierce resistence. Thierry Breton, the Commissioner for the EU’s internet market said, “In Europe, the bird will fly by our rules.” I wonder how long Apple and Google Play will let users to sign up for Twitter before dropping the hammer, as they did on Parler.
That is what happens when politicians like Biden demonize one half of the country — and conspire with Big Tech to make sure conservative views are never aired on the Internet. Maybe that is the real purpose of Biden’s executive order, to taint anyone who faults his policy, his character or his vision for our country.
The toll of this tilting of the scales is enormous. Psychologist Dr. Robert Epstein — he describes himself as the last doctoral student of B.F. Skinner, and a Biden Democrat — has been studying Google’s exploitation of its users for a decade. He believes the tech giant’s search manipulation in the 2020 election could have shifted six million votes to Democrats. Now, Google is using the same “search engine manipulative effect” tricks as in 2020 — suppressing information, sending Reminders to Vote only to liberals. In Wisconsin, he says, Google’s footprint is huge. As a result, he told Fox News’ Tucker Carlson, “Ron Johnson doesn’t stand a chance of re-election.”
Already there are signs Democrats plan to use some of the same tactics that took them to victory in 2020. Drop boxes, mass mail-in ballots, barriers to GOP observers, news suppression — all are here again. This time, Republicans have been more proactive, filing 100 lawsuits, even winning a few. One lawsuit charges Google is sending Republican National Party financial solicitations to spam folders. RNC Chair Ronna McDaniel calls 2022 the party’s most litigious year.
And yet, Dems keep stacking the deck. Consider:
In Michigan, 103.7 percent of the eligible electorate are registered to vote. Let’s absorb that a minute. More than 100% of eligible voters are registered. Are the others non-citizens? Duplicates? If ever a stakeholder deserved to be retired it might be Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson. She is facing Kristina Karamo, endorsed by Trump. Benson is ahead in polls, and doubling down. She recently imposed new restrictions on poll challengers and observers. The RNC took her to court, winning a ruling that the state has to comply with federal and state laws.
In Flint, Michigan, the RNC filed a lawsuit against the city failing to hire an equal number of poll workers from each of the two major parties. So far only 120 of the 680 election inspectors — 16% — are Republicans.
In New York, a judge struck down a law that allowed non-citizens to vote.
In Wisconsin, a judge prohibited election clerks from filling in ballots that are missing witness or address information.
In Pennsylvania, acting Secretary of State Leigh Chapman told counties that they should ignore a U.S. Supreme Court ruling that effectively banned counting of mail-in ballots without proper dates. The RNC went back to court. Just yesterday, the Pennsylvania Supreme Court ordered counties to comply. But wait, there’s more. So far, Pennsylvania has sent out 249,000 ballots to unverified voters.
The thing I find most astonishing at this manipulation of our public square is the brazen way in which public officials — and their co-conspirators in a compliant, Biden regime media — lie, skirt, and dissemble.
In Arizona, where Republican Kari Lake has now assumed a lead in the polls against Gov Katie Holmes, Phoenix station KSAZ-TV recently aired a graphic calling the election for Hobbs, showing she won with 53% of the vote. Was this subliminal advertising, or just a mistake, as the station claimed? How reassuring that the “fact-checkers” at PolitFact explained that the graphic was generated by the Associated Press as it was testing its system. Ah, so the AP has already designed its graphics to show the Democrats winning. Hobbs is secretary of state, in charge of reporting the election results. Will she conspire with AP to “tweak” the results? Last week she sent out 6000 ballots to voters without the governor’s race on them. Just another booboo.
In Pennsylvania, officials warn they may not be able to report results of the 2022 election for days. Nothing to see here folks, they say, just the process working as it should. Maybe we should ask Google who will win in Pennsylvania.
But maybe, this time, Google will be wrong. Maybe in Wisconsin Ron Johnson will win. Maybe we all will. Because if we show up, if we leave nothing on the field, we can begin the process of overthrowing the cabal of leftwing radicals trying to silence us.
AMEN!
From your lips to God's ears....this maybe our last chance to save what was once a proud Republic the envy of the world for the freedom it proclaimed for all.
