Why the J6ers Deserve Better. We Do Too.
On January 6, 2021, an insurrection happened at the U.S. Capitol.
Except it wasn’t the one portrayed by the legacy media and their elite political minders. This was a coup by the uniparty — Nancy Pelsoi, Mike Pence, Liz Cheney, Adam Schiff and the like — to shut down the Capitol before Republicans could contest the results of the 2020 presidential campaign.
In pursuit of a false political narrative — that President Trump had lost the election — Pelosi refused to call out the National Guard in advance of the Trump rally and appointed no conservatives to the investigative committee afterward. She also gave the committee $17.4 million in taxpayer funds, your money, more than double the original budget, to coach witnesses to lie, and hire filmmakers and actors to dramatize the events, splicing film to edit out peaceful scenes in favor of violent ones, riots that protestors say were provoked by Capitol Police sticks, bullets and pepper spray.
The Chief of Capitol Police, Steven Sund, who oversaw the events on January 6th, was never asked to testify. “Ask yourself why the Jan. 6 Committee never requested that I come in to publicly testify. Think about that—I am the Chief of Capitol Police.”
His full statement is here:
On February 1, 2021, I formally notified Congressional leadership in writing of my sincere willingness to assist in any and all investigations into January 6. I received no response. In that letter, I detailed my actions, efforts, and frustrations both before and during January 6. Specifically, prior to January 6, I made multiple requests for additional security resources to protect my officers and the Capitol. Those requests were denied. On January 6, as the situation rapidly deteriorated, I made nearly a dozen urgent requests for assistance and waited more than 70 agonizing minutes for my superiors to act. My requests were denied again and again. During that time, officers were injured, overwhelmed, and left without the support they desperately needed. With lives at risk, I could not wait any longer. I began personally contacting every police chief I had in my contacts to secure immediate support. I documented all of this in my letter to Speaker Pelosi, Leader McConnell, Leader McCarthy, and Leader Hoyer. My letter was ignored. Only weeks later, after the letter was leaked to CNN, did multiple Members of Congress formally demand answers as to why my requests were denied. They, too, received no response. This silence is not a matter of oversight; it is a failure of accountability. The facts were provided early, in writing, and repeatedly. I have always stood ready to testify and assist. It is time for those who denied these requests, and those who ignored them afterward, to explain their decisions, correct the record, and ensure this failure is never repeated.
In other words, the single most important figure of January 6th was deliberately prevented from testifying by Nancy Pelosi and her gang, the J6 Committee.
We now know the 2020 election was stolen — at least according to the state of Georgia, specifically Fulton County, where Trump’s mug shot would eventually be taken. The Georgia State Election Board acknowledged this month that Fulton County violated rules and certified 315,000 early votes without poll workers' signatures in 2020, exactly what Trump said happened. By the way, Biden won the state in 2020 by 11,779 votes. So, they owe Trump 303,221 votes. Vindication.
“In Fulton,” Trump said, “where they dumped ballots, you will find that you have many that aren't even signed and you have many that are forgeries. You know that.”
But here’s the thing. Ashli Babbitt, a 35-year-old Air Force veteran — was killed by Capitol Police. And more than 1,583 Americans were arrested and federally charged in connection with the January 6 “riots,” which in some cases were in self-defense to the police attack, and in one case involved a grandma walking into the Capitol to pray. It was the largest roundup of Americans peacefully protesting in U.S. history — often conducted in dawn riots by tactical swat teams designed to instill fear. Juries were harsh and the penitentiary system even more severe — in documentaries and memoirs you will learn many were kept in solitary confinement, denied visits with family or treatment for disease. By comparison, after the BLM riots in 2020 that burned down cities and shuttered police headquarters, the U.S. Department of Justice charged about 300 people for arson and assault on officers. In Defund-the-Police cities like New York, Minneapolis, and Denver, the charges did not stick.
When President Trump took office, as 47, in January of 2025, he issued pardons for all but 14 of the J6 defendants — mostly Proud Boys and Oath Keepers leaders convicted of seditious conspiracy, who received commutations to time served instead.
Among MAGA there was a widespread expectation — fueled in part by Trump’s tweets and by Attorney General Pam Bondi’s frequent appearances on Fox — that accountability was coming. There would be justice — for the wrongs committed by Pelosi and her leadership team, by the evil done by the committee and a corrupt media.
“We all worked and suffered and sacrificed to get Trump re-elected so we could get justice for what was done to us,” said Brandon Straka, creator of the #WalkAway campaign to urge Democrats to leave their party. On January 6, Straka filmed events outside the US Capitol, but did not enter the building. He took a plea bargain, knowing he was unlikely to get a fair jury trial in DC. He pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor charge of disorderly conduct. Feds dropped felony charges.
Now Straka and others are raising the alarm, about the statue of limitations expiring on the politicians who punished protestors exercising their free speech rights.
As Mila Joy wrote on X recently,
Today is day 339 of the Trump Administration. Day 324 of Pam Bondi as Attorney General. Day 300 of Kash Patel as FBI Director. Day 283 with Dan Bongino as Asst Director of the FBI. 0 politicians have been prosecuted. I voted to drain the swamp. Where are the ARRESTS?
On September 20, Trump posted this not so subtle jab at AG Pam Bondi.
Pam: I have reviewed over 30 statements and posts saying that, essentially, “same old story as last time, all talk, no action. Nothing is being done. What about Comey, Adam ‘Shifty’ Schiff, Leticia??? They’re all guilty as hell, but nothing is going to be done.” We can’t delay any longer, it’s killing our reputation and credibility. They impeached me twice, and indicted me (5 times!), OVER NOTHING. JUSTICE MUST BE SERVED, NOW!!! President DJT
Now the clock is running out, and many are frustrated, for good reason. House Speaker Mike Johnson has yet to codify a single Trump executive order. Senate Leader John Thune has yet to enact a single protection against elections, or nuke the filibuster. And at the Justice Department, well as #Sassafrass84 put it on X,
“We have been betrayed by our own party. We should be seeing arrests. We should be seeing prosecutions. Our judiciary has been captured by left leaning democrats. If democrats ever get power again, we will pay the price. Something has got to give.”
On Sunday, recovering from eye surgery, Bondi answered written questions from Just the News. She said she has asked prosecutors to investigate the Obama-Biden era of lawfare as an ongoing election-meddling conspiracy that protected Dems from criminal investigation and infringed the civil rights of conservatives. The benefit of such an approach: in an ongoing conspiracy, like those brought against the mafia and drug cartels, there is no statue of limitations.
“At my direction, U.S. Attorneys and federal agents are actively investigating instances of government weaponization nationwide,” Bondi said. “This is a ten-year stain committed by high-ranking officials against the American people.”
I hope that is true. I hope that happens. But I don’t see anything that would punish members of Congress, the FBI and the courts for their persecution of J6ers.
As for the rigged 2020 election, conservative Lara Logan put it bluntly.
Without action, I suspect this could cost Republicans the mid-term elections, that and all those annoying texts they send — folks like Lindsey Graham and Ted Cruz — asking for money, send more money. You want our money? Do something!

I've been in touch with Chief Sund and he is a great guy. He should have been chief witness. Great job as always.
Very well said. Especially the last couple of sentences.
