The Closing Arguments
Donald Trump unveiled a new ad at a rally in Atlanta Monday. You could tell from his face, and from those of the Gen Z voters sitting behind him, that the ad moved hearts.
With one week to Election Day, the two parties’ closing arguments are now clear.
For Trump: “Kamala broke it, I will fix it.”
This is a line he can use whether talking about the wide open southern border and the attendant spike in crime by violence or Fentanyl, about the economy and inflation that has strangled many family budgets, or about the international failures of the Biden-Harris administration that have led us to the brink of WW3.
But what is animating his campaign is the thousands of Americans killed, raped and traumatized by the most violent gangs in the world who crossed into our country. Today he pledged to seize assets of drug cartels, and send funds to the families of those hurt. He also assailed Harris for the 325,000 children missing from their border crossings. No one knows where they are. Trump suspects they are dead or sex slaves.
For the Democrats, the closing message: Character assassination.
Calling Trump Hitler is a perennial for them, starting with Barack Obama in 2017, who wondered the other day when the country got so divisive.
Biden has made it a fine art, calling Trump a threat to democracy — after unleashing an unprecedented campaign of weaponizing the Justice Department against him — and inviting voters to “put Trump in the bullseye,” and “lock him up…politically.” One quote is one week before the assassination attempt in Butler, the other one week ago.
Someone quipped the other day that if the Democrats really thought Donald Trump was Hitler, they would support him. They have become the party of anti-Semitism, of duplicity toward Israel, of pro-Hamas, pro-terrorist policies against the Jewish state. So the slam is more of a case of urging voters not to believe their lying eyes.
Dem officials are letting the regime media carry the load, and these propagandists have embraced the role with relish. MSNBC spliced photos of Trump’s triumphant rally at Madison Square Garden with those of a 1939 rally there for Nazi sympathizers.
So sleazy. Dems held DNC Conventions at Madison Garden in 1976 (Carter), 1980 (Carter) and 1992 (Clinton). GOP’s Wendell Wilkie held Civil Rights rally there in 1943. JFK’s 45th birthday celebration took place there, with Marilyn Monroe singing him a breathless Happy Birthday. Also Billy Joel and Elton John performed there. All this according to the uber-liberal Wikipedia. All they all Nazis now?
Michelle Obama, stumping for Harris, called Trump a convicted felon, a sexual predator, someone in “obvious mental decline.” She was angry, asking “Why is this race even close?” And at the end, she gave away the game: “I’m praying that those of us contemplating voting for Trump” remember that he is “an amoral character…a convicted felon…a known slum lord, a sexual predator.”
With FEMA largely absent from hurricane disaster relief in North Carolina — and with local Dems trying to block emergency early voting sites for the Republican-leaning voters there — Michelle Obama blamed conservatives for vilifying FEMA.
Mostly, she was angry that voters expect Kamala to “dazzle us at every turn.”
Wow, those internal polls must be bad.
Holding a press conference today — something Kamala Harris has not yet done — Trump said that in opening the border to murderers, drug overloads and sexual predators, Harris had “violated her oath and desecrated our laws.”
Anyone who knowingly sets loose these monsters into our country, Trump said, has no right to right to the presidency.

Wow. That ad is a total mic drop.
