Trump's Brilliant Move on Nicolás Maduro

The execution of Operation Absolute Resolve was flawless. Delta Force, 150 aircraft, drones, F/A-18s, bombers, tankers, and rotary-wing assets. Three months of planning, practice and secrecy. The New York Times and Washington Post had advance warning of the mission, but chose not to publish, according to the left-wing Semafor. Even amid legacy media’s unprecedented hostility toward President Trump, they chose not to endanger the lives of American soldiers. Whoever leaked to them — from the Pentagon or the Hill or elsewhere — should be prosecuted.

Speaking of traitors, remember the so-called Seditious Six? Those six members of Congress — Senators Elissa Slotkin and Mark Kelly, and Representatives Jason Crow, Chris Deluzio, Maggie Goodlander, and Chrissy Houlahan — who in November took to cameras to urge U.S. military and intelligence personnel to refuse unlawful orders. Trump called it “seditious behavior at the highest level.” Secretary of War Pete Hegseth has suggested Kelly, a retired Navy captain and US Senator from Arizona, be demoted, with loss of rank and pension. Maybe this is the raid they were hoping soldiers would refuse to carry out. Because this is the raid that changed the world.

First, a major drug cartel warlord and dictator who clung to office despite electoral defeats is off the streets. The case against Madura, and his wife Celia Flores is substantial — they are charged with leading a corrupt drug trafficking operation to flood the U.S. with cocaine. Narco-terrorism, conspiracy to import cocaine, possession of machine guns and destructive devices, plus kidnappings, beatings, and murders to support the operation. Just before he left office, President Joe Biden hiked the reward for info leading to Madura’s arrest to $25 million. This coincided with Maduro’s controversial inauguration for a third term on January 10, 2025, following the disputed July 2024 presidential election in which Maduro clung to power despite the actual results. Biden White House officials called their reward money a “concerted message of solidarity with the Venezuelan people,” to put international pressure on the regime.

After the daring capture, Venezulans cried tears of joy in Caracas and Miami, as well as all over Europe where the Venezuela Diaspora has escaped. The promise of democracy returning to their country after 20+ years of communist rule is a moment of overwhelming celebration. Viva Libre.

But the Left clung to its TDS, insisting that Trump is just trying to commandeer Venezuela’s oil for his rich friends. With professional signs made seemingly as the raid was taking place, speculation reigns about whether these same-font signs were made by George Soros or by China. Asked by citizen journalists why they were protesting, because legacy journalists would never ask, many had no idea.

Dems have now planted themselves on the side of a notorious narco-terrorist, a $9 billion + scandal of Somali fraud, and on the side of killing babies, mutilating children and forcing female athletes to compete against men. 2026 elections anyone?

Also on the losing end are Iran and Cuba — who without Venezuela’s oil could well fall next. China has lost its oil supplier and its launchpad for influence over the western hemisphere. And Maestro Trump is commanding the chessboard, putting socialists the world over on notice that the Monroe Doctrine — first enunciated by President James Monroe in his 1823 annual message to Congress to warn European powers that the Western Hemisphere was off-limits to their colonization — is back.

But the greatest windfall from the arrest of Nicolas Maduro may well be disclosures about voting machines in Venezuela and whether they sold the software to Team Biden in 2020. Lara Logan reports Smartmatic maintained its office inside headquarters for Venezuela’s election commission. Sidney Powell, lawyer for Trump’s legal team that challenged the 2020 results, said a Venezuelan Military Intelligence whistleblower confirmed that the CIA outsourced election rigging technology like Smartmatic and Dominion from Venezuela.

For his part, Trump has been posting election fraud theft videos, calling for the release of Tina Peters, an election supervisor who preserved records of election manipulation fraud in Colorado and is now serving a nine-year jail sentence. Maduro plays chess too. Some speculate he will turn informant against the CIA for laundering election theft technology like Smartmatic and Dominion through Venezuela.

And Trump is also eyeing Greenland. Because the Donroe Doctrine — unlike the one proposed two centuries ago — asserts U.S. primacy in the Western Hemisphere, not just against European powers but against modern rivals like China, Russia and Iran.
