Norman Rockwell is gone, erased from our cultural zeitgeist. Adult debauchery has replaced childhood innocence. Compassion for criminals has overtaken concern for their victims. National sovereignty? A memory, overcome by the border swarm. And no one in line to cross illegally is carrying the American flag. Even Santa Claus, once the very symbol of faith, is disparaged by parents who claim he traumatizes children.
Consider:
In Washington, the White House invited drag queen activist Marti Cummings to attend a bill signing, the same Marti Cummings, a favorite on the “family-friendly” drag circuit, who wrote on twitter, “Kids are out to sing and suck D!”
In California, a Claremont School District president invited a high school choir to perform at an adult-themed party at his house. He insisted it was a fundraiser, but outraged parents learned that a “dirty Santa” performed and drinks were served.
In Georgia, a 43-year-old school administrator in Murray County was charged with statutory rape, child molestation, and furnishing minors with alcohol after a Halloween party. She was put on a paid leave from her $110,000-a-year job.
Beyond the sexualization of children, which some say will destabilize them for the rest of their lives, is the hedonism of a generation of Americans, like AOC, who argue that having children uses up too much carbon dioxide. Have you ever wondered why the baby formula crisis is still raging — one-year after it sent parents scrambling to feed their infants? Or why the US Education Department is not targeting the math skills lost to the pandemic when teachers’ unions insisted on keeping schools closed? Or why the FBI still targets parents who complain about this at school board meetings?
At a recent meeting of the American Academy of Pediatrics, Dr. Morissa Ladinsky, an associate professor of pediatrics at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, lauded a transgender teenager for stepping “boldly in front of a tractor trailer, ending her life." Mental illness has been glamorized, one more article of faith for a generation that embraces victimhood. In fact, the growing US industry of transgender surgeons and doctors willing to mutilate, castrate and block the puberty of teenagers — and these are irreversible biomedical interventions — in the name of mental health is an insult to the Hippocratic Oath — summarized for generations as “First, do no harm.”
Some who have been mutilated in the throes of teenage confusion are fighting back.
Now 24, Prisha Mosley was 18 when she had a double masectomy to solve a mental health crisis she thought came from gender dysfunction. “Attention is what I was looking for,” she said, adding that now, “I’m heartbroken.”
Chris Beck, a retired Navy SEAL who became famous nearly 10 years ago after coming out as transgender said he is detransitioning, called on Americans to “wake up” about how transgender health services are hurting children. “Everything that happened to me for the last 10 years destroyed my life. I destroyed my life. I'm not a victim. I did this to myself, but I had help.”
Chloe Cole was 15 years ago when she allowed a surgeon, under the guidance of her “gender-affirming” school, to remove her healthy breasts and build a male’s chest. She was convinced “it would make me happy, that it would make me whole.” Now 18, she says she has wakened from “a nightmare,” calling the process of puberty blockers, testosterone treatments and concave chest surgery “brutal.”
Studies show that most children with gender dysphoria will overcome their angst by the end of puberty — if they don’t socially transition to adopt a different gender identity, many gay. But their stories will not be covered in the mainstream media, which joins in concert with a biomedical industry to push transgenderism.
As I’ve written before, I believe the push toward transgendering a generation is a direct result of teaching Critical Race Theory in the schools— an ideology that preaches that all white children are forever racist colonizers and all children of color are perpetual victims. If you were a teenager who wanted to fit in with the cultural imperative of the day, you might find a way to become a trans victim too.
Maybe, someday, the pendulum will swing back, and the “adults” will be in charge again. Until then, keep the faith, and Merry Christmas.
Well done.
