The Left's Systematic Racism
The Left taught the assailant with the long rap sheet to hate whites and blame them for his life. On the tape of Iryna’s murder you can hear him say, “I got the white girl.”
In Ukraine, the puppet Zelensky — and all those who post Ukraine flags in their Social Media profiles — have been largely silent about Iryna’s death. Zelensky denied permission for her father to come to the US for her funeral, saying she should be buried in Ukraine. She had left her war-torn country, with her mother and siblings, for a better life. She was working several jobs to save for a car. She loved America.
What makes these crimes even more heart-wrenching is the media complicity with the Democrat narrative, that white people are colonizers and people of color are victims. That is why CNN’s Van Jones sympathized not with Iryna but with the assailant, saying, “We don't know what this poor guy was going through.”
The mainstream media devoted more words to Sydney Sweeney for her jeans than to Iryna Zaruska for her death. They gave more coverage to the attacker’s mental health issues than her death by butchering. They have been worse than silent — they are twisting her story so they can call MAGA racist, the NYT reaching back 130 years to make the point. Yes, slavery, segregation, Jim Crow laws were all horrific. But as a nation we atoned for those sins — with blood and treasure, losing 620,000 Americans to the Civil War. We should not now be asked to pay again with our lives.
San Francisco's transit authority routinely withholds surveillance crime videos, to prevent ‘racial stereotyping.’ Ditto mugshots. How ironic that police bodycams, demanded by BLM after the riots over George Floyd’s death in 2020, may now be shuttered by the very same leftists who thought they would expose police violence.
Iryna is not the only beautiful young woman to be slaughtered in our cities in recent years. These ladies are vulnerable, sitting targets for hatred, victims of Black Lives Matter, Diversity Equity and Inclusion, activist judges without souls and George Soros’ campaign to end cashless bail. Megyn Kelly is throwing the F bomb.
Here are some of them.
Let us not make the same mistake of the Left, to categorize by race. There are also examples of beautiful young black women killed by repeat offenders — Dacara Thompson, pictured here, murdered at the hand of an illegal criminal, her body thrown over a bridge in the sanctuary state of Maryland.
And there lots of black conservatives who have voted for Trump not once but three times. They want to repeat offenders and dangerous criminals off the streets too.
So does our Justice Department.
When US Attorney Russ Ferguson announced he was bringing federal charges against Iryna’s killer, a North Carolina “journalist” asked if that was “political grandstanding.”
“I don’t see how you would see this case as political grandstanding. And if you do, you should have the conversation we just had with Iryna’s family, because there’s nothing political about that,” Ferguson said. “This is a heinous crime, and we are going to remedy it. If this was a political grandstand there would be an opposite side to this,” he added. “Is the opposite side ‘let’s allow murders on our light rail?’ Is the other side ‘let’s let people out of state prison so they can commit other crimes?’ There’s no other side to this. There’s no politics to this. This is a pure and simple federal case.”
Attorney General Pam Bondi was equally explicit.
“Iryna Zarutska was a young woman living the American dream — her horrific murder is a direct result of failed soft-on-crime policies that put criminals before innocent people,” Bondi posted on X. “I have directed my attorneys to federally prosecute DeCarlos Brown Jr., a repeat violent offender with a history of violent crime, for murder,” seeking “the maximum penalty for this unforgivable crime, and he will never again see the light of day as a free man.”
There is a campaign afoot to paint a mural of Iryna on the walls of our major cities. Elon Musk has pledged $1 million. So perhaps her name will live on.
She was the essence of the American dream, and by stacking the justice system against her, with a lawfare ethos that forgives criminals and punishes victims, we failed her in life. Let us not forget her in death.

The only thing I know to do is to keep speaking up.
No one deserves to die at the hand of a criminal. All those ladies you cite as well as all the other's who are nameless deserved better.
When we stop treating crime as a result of something other than the responsibility of the criminal we'll be much better off. If any of the perpetrators in these crimes had been identified beforehand and properly prosecuted and jailed, many lives would be saved. Instead we justify the murder by asking what kind of hell the perp went through? Cut the crap! What about the hell they put their victims through?
We spend too much time justifying bad behavior for political gain. It's time to prosecute crime because it happened, not because of who committed it.
As the Democrats aptly said "NO ONE IS ABOVE THE LAW!"
