The Left's Domestic Terrorism
An Open Letter to AG Pam Bondi & the FBI's Kash Patel and Dan Bongino
On March 10, the Charleston County SC Sheriff’s Office received an email that a bomb had been planted at the nearby home of Amanda Coney Williams, sister of Supreme Court Justice Amy Coney Barrett. “The device's detonation will be triggered as soon as the mailbox is next opened. Free Palestine!” it read.
Even before pro-Hamas protestors bellowed their “from the river to the sea” call for Israel’s extinction, in fact ever since the 2022 leaked draft copy of the Supreme Court’s decision to overturn Roe v. Wade — an unprecedented breach — Justice Barrett has come under enormous and violent pressure from the Left to alter her views.
A pro-abortion group called “Ruth Sent Us,” tweeted an info-graphic with the name of Barrett’s church. It also identified the school that Barrett’s children attend, and encouraged protesters to “voice your anger” by demonstrating there. ‘Ruth Sent Us” is misnamed, in my view, because the late Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg believed Roe had been wrongly decided and warned it would likely be overturned. In a time of more civility, I doubt she would have endorsed the targeting of Barrett’s seven children.
Such scruples did not stop another group, Rise Up 4 Abortion Rights, which brought dolls painted to look bloody to her DC-area home because Justice Barrett had dared to ask during oral arguments why safe haven laws did not take care of the “consequences of parenting and the obligations of motherhood that flow from pregnancy.” All 50 states, DC, and PR have variants of the law, first enacted in Texas in 1999, to help mothers in crisis safely leave their unwanted infants in fire stations or hospitals.
MAGA critics have stirred over Justice Barrett’s recent decisions. She and Chief Justice Roberts — a centrist Bush appointee and a disappointment to conservatives — voted with the three liberal justices to force Trump to unfreeze $2 billion in corrupt USAID funding. In his dissent, Justice Samuel Alito wrote:
Does a single district-court judge who likely lacks jurisdiction have the unchecked power to compel the Government of the United States to pay out (and probably lose forever) 2 billion taxpayer dollars? The answer to that question should be an emphatic “No,” but a majority of this Court apparently thinks otherwise. I am stunned.
The case — an appeal for a temporary restraining order — will likely reappear in other forms soon. As legal expert Jonathan Turley wrote, “Down but not out.”
If the threats of violence to her family are responsible for Justice Barrett’s centrism, the one person who understands her predicament, acutely, is President Trump.
In a remarkable speech at the Department of Justice Friday, President recapped his traumatic encounter with a justice system weaponized — with fabricated charges — to imprison him for the rest of his life. And then he alluded to his administration’s recent encounters with rogue judges who are impugning his rights as the head of the nation’s executive branch because of their own left-wing biases, or pressure from Dem interest groups. He did not mention Barrett by name. But he did speak, from experience, of how the Left manipulates conservatives into softening their principles.
[The Democrats are] playing the referee. Remember the way they treated Justice Thomas and Justice Alito and Justice Kavanaugh, Justice Gorsuch. Chief Justice Roberts gets treated unbelievably badly. And they’re hoping that they can sway them to go along because, again, what do they do? They’re humans. It would be wonderful if everybody was just a perfect computer machine. But they’re not. They’re humans. And they don’t want to be accused of many, many things, including gross incompetence. They don’t like it and they don’t want it. There’s not much they can do about it. You know, they’re in a position they can’t really fight back really very well. And so what they do is sometimes they get weak.
So far, the Left has not harmed the justices, except psychologically, though one aspiring assassin was poised to kill at Kavanaugh’s doorstep before his arrest. Three years later, Nicholas Roske has not yet been brought to trial, and his lawyers are trying to suppress his original confession. Given that the DC courts are packed with leftist judges, with a jury pool drawn from a city where 94% of the electorate voted for Kamala Harris, would anyone bet on a conviction?
Even as the president ruminates on the toll of threats on justices and judges, in recent days, leftists have unleashed a new, vicious and deadly war on conservatives.
A week ago, Infowars journalist Jamie White was murdered in Austin, TX. The police are not saying how or why the young journalist was killed. Alex Jones, who runs Infowars, suspects it is part of the Left’s campaign of resistance.
In the last week, conservative influencers with big followings have been swatted. Swatting is when the police get an anonymous call that an active crime is being committed at the target’s home, and the police respond by sending a SWAT team, often with guns drawn. The swatter — in this case likely Democrats — hopes for a mishap, where the target or his family is killed. Nick Sortor, with 900K followers, reported that “a dozen cops attempted to kick in my Dad’s door at gunpoint. This is literal f***ing terrorism.” Shawn Farash, a Trump imitator with 300K followers, said after reporting his swatting on X, he received not one inquiry from the legacy media — not even Fox News. This is the same media, he noted, that labeled as terrorists parents who protested queer books in school libraries.
FBI Director Kash Patel said the agency is aware of “this dangerous trend.”
“This isn't about politics—weaponizing law enforcement against ANY American is not only morally reprehensible but also endangers lives, including those of our officers. That will not be tolerated. We are fully committed to working with local law enforcement to crack down on these crimes.”
Left-wing protestors have also been burning, looting and damaging Teslas and Tesla dealerships, all in an effort to hurt Elon Musk, whose achievements as director of President Trump’s DOGE have been nothing short of remarkable. He has exposed the underbelly of corruption that defines Washington D.C., where federal government agencies such as USAID were used to launder money to groups aligned with radical left causes for expenditures that would not pass the smell taste among taxpayers. For this, many of his modernist Tesla trucks, once the darling of leftists for their EV seal of approval, now bear Nazi swatstikas.
Ever since the Defund the Police movement sparked by George Floyd’s death, the police have stopped arresting criminals, Soros-backed DAs have stopped prosecuting them, and rogue judges has liberated them from serving time. The Trump presidency of POTUS 47— far more muscular, far more aggrieved, than that of POTUS 45 — is a threat to illegal immigrants, forever-war politicians and a weaponized justice system.
Now that Trump has directed the Justice Department and the FBI to pivot from politics to chasing criminals, we can hope for some answers. Who is behind these attacks against conservatives, and more importantly, who is funding them? The Jan 6 defendants were never the threat to the country that these domestic terrorists are.
