The ‘No Kings’ signs have been consigned to the dustbin of history, overflowing trash cans in a vivid demonstration of the rally’s epic fail. According to CNN’s pollster Harry Enten, President Trump’s popularity has drifted upward during the Schumer Shutdown, and Democrats may be forced to return to their jobs in DC this week.

Turns out this was a mass therapy session by mostly geriatric white liberals, a primal group scream by those who are triggered at the very mention Donald J. Trump’s name. My favorite signs declared that America has been free of kings since 1776. Exactly!

Batya Ungar-Sargon, a liberal who voted for Trump, shocked her colleagues on CNN by saying that while “white boomers” have every right to protest, their cause is silly.

“This is a man who won the popular vote. He won every swing state. He is a person who is enacting the exact agenda he promised he was going to enact while he was campaigning. And so what they are actually protesting is the absolute perfection of American democracy.”

The rallies also seemed off because if any party represents authoritarian dictatorship, that would be the Democrats. As activist Robby Starbuck pointed out, the “No Kings” party of elderly tyrants — Schumer, Sanders, Pelosi, Biden — censored dissenters, tried to force masks and vaccines on the entire country and got rich in the process.

African Americans seemed especially aggrieved that a president who was fighting to keep their cities safe and deport illegal immigrants sponging off their resources would be so reviled. As House Speaker Mike Johnson noted, if Trump were a king he would have opened the government. “I’m not a king, I work my ass off,” said Trump. It was a nice contrast to the geriatric display of aging hippies — including the celebrities like Ben Stiller, Spike Lee, Glenn Close — showing up for their participation trophies at the No Kings rallies. Lots of videos show rally-goers had no idea what they were protesting. I can hardly remember myself — oh yeah, Dems shut down the government because Trump didn’t want to give them $1.5 trillion in new spending for illegal immigrants.

They have lost the political argument. So they foment violence, hoping to kill Trump and any of his allies who get in their way. The signs calling to 86-47 were ubiquitous — only days after the Secret Service reported they had uncovered a hunter’s platform in sight of where Air Force One parks at Palm Beach International. A little boy was pictured sticking a knife into a Trump pinata. Who taught him that?

“They’ve lost culture,” said Clay Travis on Fox. “Calling someone a Democrat is an insult. Calling someone a Kamala voter is an insult. This is white, black, Asian, Hispanic: young men across America are over the BS that they saw at this No Kings rally. Look at the dance. These are huge dorks. They have no power. They are losers. No one wants to hang out with them. They’re old, 1960s protesters who now are on the side that they used to protest against. They don’t realize that the world has shifted around them and they are awkward lunatics. And so their last refuge is violence.”

Through it all, Trump keeps winning. In the Middle East. In the Ninth Circuit, which cleared him to protect ICE agents in the hellhole that is now Portland. In shuttering Dem-favorite federal programs during the shutdown. Even in his trolling.
