Stonewalling Trump
They are sabotaging Trump’s presidency. MAGA is pretty mad about it. Trump too.
The GOP-led Senate has slow-walked the entire Trump agenda, putting his presidency and legacy at risk. No move to codify his executive orders. No effort to enact the SAVE Act to secure our elections from illegal voters — already passed twice by the House. No effort to lift the filibuster so that legislation can pass with a simple majority instead of a 60-vote threshold requiring the unlikely defection of Dems. And of course reverence for senatorial privilege that clogs the pipeline for nominees.
“I’m tired, I’m worn out, I’m fed up, I’ve had enough. I’m tired of exposing corruption; nothing happens and no one goes to jail. No one pays for a damn thing anymore,” said Glenn Beck in a righteous rant you can watch here. “Where is Pam? They have made good evil and evil good. Nothing has happened with the biggest scandal in U.S. history and it went all the way to Obama’s White House.”
The failure of AG Pam Bondi to bring to account any of the Democrats who launched a coup against President Trump is shocking. Not Comey nor Brennan nor Clapper nor Hillary, let alone Obama. Not even Adam Schiff, who admitted fabricating a story to buttress the nonexistent case for impeachment, has faced a single charge. Or Nancy Pelosi, who facilitated the Jan 6 riots and imprisonment of 1000+ patriots.
Some hold Trump responsible for bad choices. His first AG, Jeff Sessions, recused himself from investigating the Russian Collusion Hoax. His next one, Bill Barr, dismissed the need to analyse the 2000 election for fraud, don’t believe your lying eyes.
Now Bondi, who said the Epstein Files were on her desk when they weren’t, has yet to win a single conviction against a Deep State power structure that wants all of MAGA dead. This time around, Trump nominated Matt Gaetz, who knows where the bodies are buried. But the uniparty said no, so the president had to settle for Bondi.
Until now, he has done everything to praise and encourage her activism. No more.
One of Trump’s complaints is the senatorial blue slip allowing home-state senators to nix the nomination of any presidential appointee. This rule is not in the Constitution, or even in law. It’s an informal agreement that Judiciary Committee chair Sen. Chuck Grassley, 92, chooses to continue in the name of Senate tradition. Rest assured that when the Dems are back in power, they will not extend the same courtesy to the GOP.
Trump has called it a hoax, a scam, a “stupid and outdated” tradition that makes it “impossible” for him to appoint non-Democrats to these positions. He has specifically blamed Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley for upholding it.
After Alina Habba resigned as interim U.S. Attorney for New Jersey (her nomination blocked by Dem senators), Trump said: “You’ve got a blue slip thing that’s horrible… It’s a horrible thing. It makes it impossible to appoint a judge or a U.S. attorney. And the Republicans should be ashamed of themselves that they allow this to go on. I can’t appoint a U.S. attorney that’s not a Democrat, because they put a block on it.”
Patriots are brimming with anger about the morass of inaction, in the hollow sounds of Senate debate and in the empty rhetoric of the Justice Department’s press notices.
Steve Ferguson: “Not long after going into operation, DOGE discovered who stole 400,000 Social Security numbers. Elon said there was going to be an arrest the next day. There still hasn’t been an arrest.” He also wrote: “Back in February, Tom Homan referred AOC to the DOJ for holding an online seminar tutoring illegal aliens on how to evade ICE. AOC was concerned enough to write a letter to Pam Bondi about this referral. And do you know what happened? NOTHING!”
Charlie’s Voice Rising: “Chuck Grassley got offended the moment President Trump called him out over the ridiculous “Blue Slip” tradition. Instead of fixing it, the Senate packed bags for a 30-day vacation. Meanwhile? Not a single confirmation for Trump’s top picks. Not one. And now we’re right back where Trump said we’d be. He warned them. He was right. Honestly… it’s pathetic.”
Bad Hombre: “It has now been 20 days since Rep. Sheila Cherfilus-McCormick of Florida was indicted for stealing $5 million in FEMA funds. Our spineless GOP majority has still not brought Rep. Greg Steube’s bill to expel her up for a vote. They go on Christmas vacation on the 19th.”
Outmaneuvered, President Trump went back out on the campaign trail last night, with a stop in Pennsylvania to tout his economic record, to reclaim “affordability” as a Trump success story in the face of Biden’s epic inflation. White House Chief of Staff Susie Wiles signaled that Trump will be back on the road for Republicans next year, campaigning as if it were 2024 and his life depended on it. Again.
“I hate this,” said Tyrus, the former wrestler turned commentator on Fox News. “I hate that the President has to leave the White House to go campaign for Republicans. Republicans step up, why does daddy have to come save you?”
There are only three years left on the Trump presidency. He has gone at an amazing pace. I have covered presidents since Reagan and I have never witnessed such a whirlwind of good intention and fast-paced actions. Even the lame stream media’s latest rumor that Trump was losing a step (yes these are the same poseurs who covered for the senile Biden) fell of its own weight
But if the Senate doesn’t show some spine I believe we could lose the 2026 midterms, making Trump vulnerable to impeachment and dooming the rest of his agenda. Some think that’s what exactly the RINOs want — no accountability, same money.

I'm concerned that history will have recorded Trump as a mere bump in the road of the machine's inevitable march to ruin. Our leaders, aside from Trump and a very small handful of others, prefer domination instead of representation. Government is not controlled by the people.
