Funeral for the Uniparty
Everyone who once mattered in the constellation of power that ruled the country for decades — moderate sounding Democrats like Bill Clinton, trigger happy Republicans like George Bush, vice presidents Al Gore, Mike Pence and Kamala Harris — came to honor the life of Dick Cheney, castigated by Democrats in his prime as Darth Vader.
Anthony Fauci sat next to Rachel Maddow. Imagine Josef Mengele, the Nazi doctor called the Angel of Death for his horrific medical experiments on concentration camp victims, sitting next to Joseph Goebels, the Third Reich’s chief propagandist.
You know who wasn’t there? President Trump and Vice President Vance, pointedly excluded because they are not members of the uniparty. In fact it’s fair to say that President Trump has single-handedly transformed the party of elitists like Cheney, Pence and Bush into the party of working class and middle class Americans — black, white, Hispanic, Asian, female and male. You could call them MAGA.
Breitbart reported this morning about a secret conspiracy by the Bush family to wrest the party back for RINOs, to end what it called “the Bush exile.” It was actually more of “a Bush boycott” of Trump and all things MAGA by the Bushes. Per the Daily Mail:
Now, rumors are stirring of a plot to end the so-called ‘Bush Exile’ and take back the GOP from the so-called scourge of Trumpism.
Behind the scenes, and still with deep connections around the country, a shadow Republican Party is lying in wait to take over when Trump is gone.
And, while the former president is determined not to publicly criticize Trump – much to the frustration of some of his former aides – he may not be averse to quietly helping to shape the Republican Party’s long-term future.
Really? The “scourge of Trumpism” has brought this country unbelievable prosperity, international peace unimaginable in earlier administrations and a warning sign to the woke mob that DEI, men in women’s sports and lax military standards are on the way out. Job numbers rose in September by 119,000 — far more than the 50,000 predicted — and Vice President J.D. Vance told Breitbart that most of those were coming from the private sector, and most were going to Americans. And the military is booming.
As if on cue, Democrats cut a video urging newly fit, tough-minded soldiers to disobey their commander in chief. Trump called it sedition, and it is surely that, urging active military officials to defy a president’s “illegal” orders.
Asked by Fox News’ Martha MacCallum about which specific orders they were suggesting were illegal, a Democratic congressman from Colorado ducked and weaved like a drug boat trying to evade Coast Guard intervention. On Wednesday, the Coast Guard seized $362 million worth of illicit drugs off Port Everglades, Florida.
“Democrats have got a lot of nerve,” said Trace Gallagher. “The same Democrats who cannot get enough of calling their opponents Hitler - and cannot get enough of saying their opponents are assaulting democracy - are now actively encouraging troops to disobey their commanders. They are not saying which orders are illegal. Because if they could point to an illegal order, they would point to an illegal order.”
Dems & RINOs can’t abide power for the people, only for themselves. Trump uses diplomacy and muscle — carrot and stick — to win what he thinks is in the best interest of the American people. He promised on the campaign trail to deport criminal aliens, close the border, end the slave trafficking and criminal drug empires endangering the fabric of our nation, and so he is.
If there were any tears shed at the National Cathedral for Dick Cheney, they were are for the uniparty’s funeral. These titans of the establishment had to sit next to each other — and you could tell a furious Jill Biden still fuming at the knife Kamala had speared in her husband’s back. They put on a brave face for the cameras.
Like whack-a-moles at the carnival, they will keep popping up until the machine runs out of batteries. Then Trump will appear, smiling at them, a mallet in his hand.
