The other day my friend Kendra asked me if I thought we would have elections next year. At first I was stunned. Then, on reflection, I decided it was a profound question.
A re-do of Biden v Trump — when those game-changing independents have no appetite for the rematch — does seem to stretch credulity. And a coup — “Hi I’m Idi Amin and I’m your new President for Life” — seems, if not likely, at least possible.
Joe Biden is senile, propped up by his corrupt family influencing peddling scheme and his value to Democrats as a “useful idiot” who can propel their radical, Marxist agenda into law. Victor Davis Hanson calls him a “social construct,” borrowing the post-modernist language that the Left uses for any one or any concept they seek to erase. Think male virility, capitalistic empowerment, happy wives, President Biden.
Though wildly popular with his base — something Biden is not — Donald Trump is facing 93 felony charges for various offenses, some absurd on their face, others relevant to his current claims that his judicial prosecution is a real persecution amounting to election interference. The rabid Left, having failed to destroy Trump with impeachments and prosecutions, has only made him more popular.
Not hard to see either Trump or Biden felled on their way to the finish line.
