Dem Party Broke. No Ideas Either. That's Why They're Trashing Ours.

The Democrat Party — of Bill Clinton, Barack Obama and Joe Biden — is officially bankrupt, and needs to borrow money to pay its bills. Or, as the New York Times put it:

Elon Musk fans were quick to note that the collapse in Dem Party financial fortunes followed closely on the heels of the DOGE clawback of USAID funding to NGOs. But even the Times acknowledged that major donors have also lost their interest. Maybe they’re miffed Kamala Harris went through $1.5 billion in 15 weeks without a win.

But the Dems are not just bankrupt financially. They are also bereft of ideas. That’s why they are preoccupied with defeating MAGA’s policies, with violence and performance art if necessary. That’s why Sen. Alex Padilla wept on the Senate floor, and why Sen. Cory Booker screamed in his defense. These are not serious people.

The much-publicized ‘No Kings’ march was an embarrassment. Crowds were white and elderly, many on walkers, or white and young, often Antifa rioters intent on destroying both property and people. As for black voters, their presence was minimal, except for those who rallied in support of President Trump. Spotted at a black counter-protest in Miami, a sign that declared, “They don't want Trump because they don't want us to be saved.” Signed, “The Black men of America.”

Tell it to the NAACP, which spurned Trump by not inviting him to next month’s NAACP convention — the first time the civil rights organization has excluded a sitting president in its 116-year history. Why? Because “fascism.” All over X, MAGA reacted, reminding the public that the NAACP was once led by a white woman posing as black, that the NAACP’s policies keep African Americans dependent, and poor.

The interviews by No Kings protestors were incomprehensible, especially on the question, “What are you protesting?” As President Trump noted on Truth Social,

Today is Juneteenth, the anniversary of June 19, 1865, when the last slaves still in bondage in Galveston Bay, Texas learned that they had been freed. I’m all for the celebration, although I was amused to be reminded that Juneteenth celebrates the liberation of black slaves by Republicans after they defeated the Confederate Dems.

That said, efforts by the woke activists at the National Parks Service to turn this into our national day of birth, to substitute Juneteenth for the Fourth of July, are alarming. As the Federalist wrote, “The leftist activists who succeeded in getting Juneteenth added as a federal holiday meant to strip Independence Day of some of its moral and historical significance” by suggesting that “slavery, rather than liberty, is the defining feature of our founding.” Parenthetically, these radicals are also redesigning the Jefferson Memorial to make it more about the slaves Jefferson owned than about the clarion call of his Declaration of Independence, that ‘all men are created equal.’”

Glaringly, Democrats are on the wrong side of almost every issue, as measured by popular opinion. They want biological men in women’s sports. They also want to neuter children before they get to puberty, and abort babies on demand. They are against ICE enforcing immigration laws and for an array of hostile actors from Gaza terrorists to Iran’s mullahs. Basically, whatever Trump wants, they vilify. No matter what way he goes on Iran, they will pillory him for either 1/ risking World War III or 2/ appeasing dictators. Chaos seems to be Dems’ chosen theme for the 2026 elections.

But the truth is that despite all those Wall Street “experts” who made the markets go wobbly by screaming about a “tariff tax,” (see Clarence Thomas’ latest takedown on “self-proclaimed experts” who pretend to “shed light on the meaning of the Constitution,”), despite a Federal Reserve chair who seems to think he should keep interest rates high to thwart a Trump recovery, and despite a Congress that acts only when pushed against a deadline, well, actually we seem to be thriving.

As for the Dems, they are literally killing people in the name of Marxist ideology.

Mohamed Sabry Soliman, an illegal immigrant, is now facing federal murder, assault and other charges following what the FBI called a "targeted terror attack" in Boulder against a pro-Israel group calling on Hamas to release Israeli hostages.

And then of course there’s Luigi Mangione, who killed United Healthcare CEO Brian Thompson in the back on the streets of Manhattan. He is now the darling of left-wingers writing fan letters. On his 27th birthday, he thanked the guards and mail staff at in prison for having “photocopied and processed thousands of letters sent to me from over 40 countries - your efforts are appreciated by so many.”

They justify violence to gain their political ends. They can scream democracy all they want. But their actions speak louder than their words.
