A Turning Point for America
The Political Assassination of Charlie Kirk
“The tyrant dies, and his rule is over. The martyr dies, and his rule begins.” — Kierkegaard
The bullet that pierced Charlie Kirk’s neck was meant for us.
For years they have ridiculed us — deplorable and irredeemable were early slurs. Now they have escalated to harsher terms — Nazis, fascists, Hitler. Ever since Kirk’s brutal assassination, crazed liberals have posted videos of them laughing at him, mocking us.
Perhaps the Devil overplayed his hand. The evil that took Charlie’s life has ignited a resolve among the survivors to carry forward Charlie’s legacy, to extinguish the flames of hatred on the Far Left among radicals who condone violence in the name of ideology, where the ends justify whatever Godless means they choose.
The thing of it is, when they took Charlie, they took our gentlest soldier — a man who waded into the public square every day to engage with people who disagreed with him, making converts one college student at a time, kindly, with faith in God and an open heart and mind. What he did for a living was walk into an angry public square bearing only the protections of God and the First Amendment.
Ben Shapiro called him our Martin Luther King Jr., assassinated for using his voice to spur social change, moving the nation not with guns but with words. HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr., who experienced the assassination of both his father, the attorney general, and his uncle, the president, was especially touching in his reaction.
Once again, a bullet has silenced the most eloquent truth teller of an era. My dear friend Charlie Kirk was our country's relentless and courageous crusader for free speech. We pray for Erika and the children. Charlie is already in paradise with the angels. We ask his prayers for our country.
Charlie named his organization Turning Point, because he hoped to turn a generation of young people from the liberal brainwashing that had infected their minds to the clarity, grace, faith, family and the common sense of conservatism. His death must now become a Turning Point for America, where we hold accountable those who would destroy not only our nation’s principles but its valiant messengers.
Charlie Kirk warned in April of the Left’s assassination culture. Now, conservatives are calling on President Trump to declare the Democrat Party a terrorist organization.
As if to underscore the point, on hearing of Kirk’s death, Trans DC comics writer Gretchen Felker-Martin wrote, ‘Thoughts and Prayers You Nazi Bitch’ Even at the rally in Utah, even as Charlie tried to reason with those who disagreed with him, witnesses said there were chants throughout of “F*** Charlie Kirk.”
At a restaurant in DC the other night, President Trump went to dinner with his top aides, to showcase how safe DC is since his crime crackdown. A group of shouting Code Pink protestors came within an arm’s reach of the presidential party. Was this, like Butler, another Secret Service failure? Harmeet Dillon, assistant Attorney General for civil rights, said later the incident made her realize, “We are all targets now.”
We may not know yet who pulled the trigger, but we do know what led to his death.
In May, the Southern Poverty Law Center added Kirk’s Turning Point to its interactive self-described Hate Map, alongisde the Ku Klux Klan, Prager U, Gays Against Groomers and Moms for Liberty. Despite its lofty name, the SPLC has become a hub of targeting, doxxing and weaponization. It pretends to wage war against hate but instead foments it. A line of blood runs from Utah Valley University directly to SPLC’s doorsteps.
Democrat leaders who have long-since crossed the line, from civil disagreements with the other party to outright threats. “You have unleashed the whirlwinds,” said Senate Leader Chuck Schumer to Justices Neil Gorsuch and Brett Kavanaugh for a judicial decision he disagreed with. “And you will pay the price.” As James Woods observed last night, “When Democrats threaten your life, believe them.”
President Obama’s rhetoric, stirring racial animus to anyone who opposed his policies. In June 2008 Obama said, “If they bring a knife to a fight, we bring a gun.” The former president said last night that he did not know what motivated Kirk’s assassin. I do, said Clay Travis. “Look at me right now! You caused this! When you tell people that someone is Hitler, you are telling crazy people: go kill them. And I’m sick of pretending that is anything other than what they are doing. … Charlie Kirk bore the brunt of that left-wing violence.”
President Trump called Kirk a patriot, in a dark moment for America. “For years, those on the radical left have compared wonderful Americans like Charlie to Nazis. This kind of rhetoric is directly responsible for the terrorism that we’re seeing in our country today, and it must stop right now.”
MSNBC’s Jen Psaki accused Trump of escalating the rhetoric, instead of unifying the country, refusing to look in the mirror and examine her own culpability. One guest on the show was fired for suggesting that Kirk had brought his murder on himself. But the network is still on the air, free to spew its twisted hatred of conservatives.
Since Charlie’s death, we are no longer are we two Americas, debating our differences, red and blue. Today we are the Americans. They are Godless Marxist ideologues parading as Americans. You would be hard pressed to find any occasion where they carry the flag or even say a prayer. Yesterday on the House floor, they booed when Colorado’s Lauren Boebert called for a verbal prayer in Charlie’s memory.
They killed Charlie not because he was weak, or desperate, but because he was effective, because he empowered so many young people to become conservatives. In the end, you could say, they killed Charlie Kirk because they were losing the debate. Now we must pick up his microphone, with what Graham Allen called “righteous anger,” and continue the persuasion at which he excelled, one voter at a time.

Spot on as always.
Absolutely agree with everything you say. If you're looking for an excellent forecast of what is liable to happen next, read "American Apocalypse: The Second American Civil War" by Kurt Schlichter. I believe we're moving closer to that scenario day by day.
And yes, that's what happens when lies are allowed to permeate our culture.
Charlie Kirk was assassinated by one man, however he was killed by the left and the Democrat party.
Don't ever forget they have convinced themselves that conservatives are not real people, and they'll act accordingly.
